Taylor Lightner is a licensed family nurse practitioner and lactation consultant in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia. She sees patients of all ages for holistic primary care.

Prior to her healthcare career, Taylor graduated with a degree in sociology and then completed formal culinary training in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended nursing school following, ultimately obtaining a master of science in the field.

Taylor loves to learn. She continues her studies focusing on lactation care, metabolic health, and the evidence of herbal remedies. In June 2026 she became an international board certified lactation consultant.

In her career, she aspires to embody 2 Peter‬ ‭1:3, “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.” Christianity guides her life and work. She hopes in the second advent of Christ and the perfection and healing that will bring. Until then, she seeks to humbly abide in Christ, sharing the wisdom of submission to God in every area of life. Based on her Christian convictions, she utilizes natural-based solutions for health challenges and offers prayer for supernatural healing. In the clinical setting she focuses on metabolic and holistic health.

Her DIY style and listening ear endears her to the clients she serves.

Taylor enjoys cooking, being outside, reading, gardening, running, and simply being with her young family. She is currently learning to sew. An adventurer at heart, she has traveled to numerous countries and, more importantly, carries friendships from her travels into her future.
